Arman Tsarukyan Clears Air on the injury that he suffered before UFC 311.

UFC lightweight star Arman Tsarukyan recently faced a major setback.

Tsarukyan withdrew from the UFC 311 main event due to a back injury.

Fans blamed a media session with MMA personality Nina Marie Danielle.

Many fans thought intense wrestling drills during the session with Nina allegedly caused the injury.

Tsarukyan appeared on Ariel Helwani’s show to clear the air.

He denied that the session was the root cause.

"I do this exercise every day as part of my warm-up," Tsarukyan clarified.

He felt no issues during or after the session.

Dehydration likely triggered the back pain.

Tsarukyan pointed to weight cutting and dehydration as contributing factors.

"A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."

Tsarukyan's bout against Islam Makhachev was for the undisputed UFC lightweight gold.

The injury has cost Tsarukyan his title shot against Makhachev.

He must now work his way back up the ranks

Tsarukyan remains determined to earn another title shot.

The lightweight star is ready for a comeback after recovery. He wants the UFC to book him against Charles Oliveira in a 5 round match.
