UFC Fight Night: Mackenzie Dern vs. Amanda Ribas 2 will happen on January 11, 2025, at UFC Apex, Las Vegas, Nevada. As the event is just a day away, the betting favorites are out for the event.

In the highly anticipated main-event, the betting odds favor Amanda Ribas as the possible winner at -190. Mackenzie Dern is still an underdog, getting +160. Ribas claimed a unanimous decision victory over Dern in their first encounter.

It was the maiden professional defeat of Dern. Since that time, both fighters have gone through many changes. Thus, fans are looking forward to this rematch all over the message boards.

The co-main event will feature a welterweight clash between Santiago Ponzinibbio and Carlston Harris. Best known for his striking, Ponzinibbio is the favorite at -145, while Harris is listed at +125. Both fighters want to move up in the welterweight rankings, so this one should be a blast.

Besides that highly anticipated main and co-main event, the fight card is loaded with multiple interesting match-ups. These fight bouts has increased the level of excitement on offer. It simultaneously displays the diverse talent that is part of the UFC roster.

Mackenzie Dern vs Amanda Ribas 2 headlined fight card has four more matches

The fight card features an exciting match between middleweights, Cesar Almeida and Abdul Razak Alhassan. Almeida, a former kickboxing champion, will put his intended lethal striking into the cage. He is known for his pure knockout power and will try to end the fight as fast as possible. Next on the card two featherweights are promising to burst into action. The two prospects are Christian Rodriguez and Austin Bashi.

Also, high-octane action with lightweight contenders Natan Levy and Mateusz Rebecki, will probably feature a battle between the two. As such, with Levy’s grappling skills combined with the striking attacks from Rebecki, you might as well call it a “toss-up.” And finally, in women’s flyweight competition, the card has JJ Aldrich versus Victoria Dudakova. It is an interesting mix of age and temperament in experience against raw ambition.

The event is the last stop before UFC 311 which will happen at the Intuit Dome, Inglewood, USA. In the main event, Islam Makhachev knows he is entering a fixated battlefield with Arman Tsarukyan.

In an interview with Demetrious Johnson, the lightweight champion expressed confidence in his grappling and wrestling skills. But he also accepted the reality about Tsarukyan’s tough challenge. Both have made serious evolutions since their first fight where the Dagestani emerged victorious. As a result, it has turned this rematch into a highly anticipated clash.

The co-main event in the UFC 311 card will be between bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili and undefeated Umar Nurmagomedov. MMA Universe can very much expect Khabib Nurmagomedov’s appearance on the show to support the two Dagestani fighters.

Fans as well would enjoy the very high-level grappling and game plan that these fighters would bring into the cage. But before that, UFC will present this weekend’s Fight Night.
