Dana White And Turki Alalshikh Forms A New Boxing Organization: Everything You Need To Know

Dana White has formed a new boxing organization in partnership with Turki Alalshikh. This new promotion is under the TKO banner and aims to revolutionize the sport of boxing by implementing a structured system that emphasizes competitive integrity and clarity in championship titles.

The collaboration between Dana White, UFC President, and Turki Alalshikh, a prominent figure in Saudi Arabian sports promotion, was officially announced on March 5, 2025. This partnership is supported by TKO Group Holdings, which also oversees UFC and WWE operations1.

The new boxing promotion will be managed by TKO, with Dana White and WWE President Nick Khan leading day-to-day operations. This structure is designed to provide operational expertise and management oversight similar to that of the UFC23.

One of the key features of this new organization is its commitment to simplifying boxing’s often fragmented championship landscape. White has expressed a desire to eliminate the multiple sanctioning bodies (WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO) that currently exist in boxing.

Instead, he envisions having one championship belt per weight class45. This approach aims to ensure that “the best fight the best,” creating a clear ranking system for fighters6.

The promotion plans to implement a highly structured system for developing new talent globally. This includes athlete combines and academies as well as access for boxers to the UFC Performance Institutes located in Las Vegas, Mexico City, and Shanghai78.

The events organized under this new promotion are expected to follow a format similar to UFC events—where fights are scheduled efficiently without excessive downtime between bouts9. White has emphasized that fans want to see great fights without unnecessary delays or distractions during events.

While specific details about upcoming events are still pending, there are indications that major cards could begin as early as 202610. Anticipation is building around potential high-profile matchups that could serve as launch events for this new league.

Dana White’s collaboration with Turki Alalshikh marks a significant shift in how boxing may be organized moving forward. By focusing on unification and competitive integrity, this new promotion seeks to address long-standing issues within the sport.
