WWE LFG is a new show by WWE in which veterans like The Undertaker, Booker T, Mickie James, and Bubba Ray Dudley mentor the aspiring wrestlers. The show was first aired on 16th February 2025 and within a month gave a rare glimpse into the training session of wrestling legends. The show showed Gunther’s subtle (or not-so-subtle) questioning about The Phenom’s methods, but also unexpected comedy moments too.
This show is a replacement of WWE NXT Level Up and gives a background insight to the fans and future ready participants for a spot in the NXT. This weekend Gunther was invited as a special guest. Was he harsh or exactly what these hopefuls needed ? We will discuss everything in this article.

In the featured clip, The Undertaker was imparting old-school wrestling wisdom, emphasizing the importance of certain in-ring techniques.The Ring General is known for his discipline and no-nonsense approach. He opened the segment with a verbal sledgehammer:
“I guess you’re all here because your real passion didn’t work out for you!”
He clarified from the beginning that he is not here for just the purpose of motivation and will introduce the young fighters with reality.
“You shut your mouth and listen, you understand that? If you don’t like it, the door is right there, walk. If your ego feels a little hurt, you’re replaceable. EASILY.”
Also, his measured pauses and expressions break the momentum of seriousness, leaving fans entertained. “The Phenom’s” long and celebrated career in WWE and Gunther perfecting the art approach shared a contrast throughout this episode.

The humorous moment came when Gunther questioned PC athletes about their athletic background. He further said maybe they were not serious about their professional athlete which didn’t pan out and that is why you might be here in wrestling. The last show of WWE LFG featuring Gunther was a tight set and a couple of humorous moments. The fans showed their opinion on the clip through the Social Media handles. A few comments were as follows.

Fans gave their multiple opinions and it completely resonated with them too as many remarked it as the contrast. Many noted the contrast between between two wrestling eras.
The Undertaker’s Perspective regarding this show
The Undertaker is one of the most respected legends in professional wrestling. With his years of experience he knows well how to channelise the emotions and didn’t take Gunther reactions too seriously. Even he appreciated his words as he said “I claim him, That’s my guy”.
Out of many sports ideologies, Gunther’s approach on strict technical wrestling is another evolution of the sport. In fact, it wouldn’t be surprising if the Deadman found humor in the interaction.
Gunther’s skepticism did not mark any scar on the Undertaker’s legacy but rather gives his perspective on how he sees this sport. Also, it reflects how new generations have evolved through the time.
