“The Last Time is Now” tour is scheduled to kickoff from February 1, 2025 at the Royal Rumble in Indiana. This will be a farewell tour for John Cena. The tour will have 36 stops across the globe, ending on his last WWE appearance in December 2025. At the same time, there can be many monumental records that he can break during this tour that would cement Cena as the “The GOAT”.
Winning the 2025 Royal Rumble would tie John Cena with Stone Cold Steve Austin for three Rumble victories. After this point, Cena may be set to shatter the World Title record at WrestleMania 41 by capturing his 17th title, breaking Ric Flair’s legacy. It would also be Cena’s 9th World Title match at WrestleMania, which would tie him with Triple H for the most World championship matches in the event’s history. “This could be a record farewell year for John Cena!”
For Cena to surpass these milestones, he will need to unleash his Super Cena gimmick. In recent years, he has lost most of his matches, allowing younger superstars to shine. Whispers as to what he can still achieve are loading as fans call for the return of the dominant, unassailable Cena for one last run. This is an ideal opportunity for the Cenation leader to demonstrate why he’s referred to as the GOAT and go out on top, record-setting high.

John Cena And Multiple Superstars Announced For Royal Rumble 2025
At January 6, 2025 episode of WWE Raw on Netflix, John Cena announced that he would be entering in the Men’s Royal Rumble match. In an emotional promo the 16-time world champion charged up the WWE universe to root for him in his final run. After he announced his entry in the 30-man match, other superstars joined him in confirming their presence.

CM Punk: Punk was announced for the 30-men match on January, 6 RAW post show. I a fiery promo the second-city saint also mentioned John Cena on January 13, 2025, during Raw. It has made fans look forward to these legends collide once again.

Roman Reigns: Paul Heyman made the announcement on January 10, 2025 that Roman would be entering the match on SmackDown. Reigns made his intentions clear to get the WWE Championship back from Cody Rhodes.
Seth Rollins: Declared his entry on Raw: January 13, 2025. Rollins is prepared to reclaim his superiority.

Rey Mysterio — January 17, 2025 on SmackDown. Rey Mysterio wants another milestone in his already legendary career.
