Roman Reigns had a fan interaction while promoting WWE 2K25. He was interrupted by a person wearing a t-shirt having Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson on it. Paul Heyman was quick to call the outfit stupid.
Reigns is the cover star of WWE 2K25 and The Bloodline is the centerpiece of the game. Interestingly, “The Bloodline” storyline does not feature The Rock. Reigns was promoting the game and during the same had a conversation with a fan.
While the conversation was ongoing, a person showed up wearing a t-shirt that had The Rock’s pictures. Reigns was not happy to see that and confronted the person. The person quickly retaliated after acknowledging The Tribal Chief.
On his way out Paul Heyman, who was also present there, caught him. He told the person about how the outfit looked stupid when compared to that of Reigns.
He stated:
“Your shirt is stupid in front of Roman Reign.”
As per reports from Wrestling Observer Newsletter in October last year, fans already know that Rock is not competing at WrestleMania 41 as he is unavailable. But the recent video may hint a surprise entry of The Rock at the Show of Shows. Probably not a full match but speculation remains about a possible surprise segment.
Well anything can happen as WWE events are not completely predictable. A big example is Jey Uso winning the men’s Royal Rumble match this year. So, WWE may or may not have plans to feature Rock at the Grandest Stage of Them All.
Seth Rollins says Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman won’t admit about the OTC’s injury
On this week’s RAW, Seth Rollins addressed the outcome of Royal Rumble 2025. He mentioned how he hurt Reigns as he disliked him. As per him the OTC is out injured for good.
In the promo, he mentioned how Reigns won’t let anyone know about the injury. He also stated that Paul Heyman won’t tell this either. Rollins went on to say that Reigns won’t make it to WrestleMania 41 this year.
Paul Heyman had accompanied Roman Reigns at Royal Rumble 2025. He was shocked when Rollins attacked Reigns after both the superstars were eliminated by CM Punk. Heyman wasn’t happy with the act. The Wiseman was seen yelling at Rollins and displaying his emotions to Punk after the brawl.
On Monday Night RAW, Michael Cole gave update on Roman Reigns’ injury. Cole stated that the Tribal Chief needed to rest and will be out indefinitely from the organization. However, it might be a setup to book a match between the former “Shield” teammates.
Possible plans for Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41
All signs indicate on a possible match between Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41. It won’t be a bad idea as the two top faces of the company have always delivered when they came face to face. Also, if The Rock can’t make it, then The Architect looks like a perfect option to face Reigns at WrestleMania 41.
Interestingly, CM Punk might also play a role in the storyline. Some reports have also suggested a triple threat match between the Chicago’s favorite, The Visionary and The OTC. WWE has laid the foundation for a storyline between the three and keeping in mind the favour Heyman owes to Punk, it just makes things more interesting.
This year’s Show of Shows is all set to take place at the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada in Las Vegas on 19th and 20th of April. Stay tuned and get all the developments enroute to WrestleMania 41.
