New Record: Roxanne Perez, 67:47 (2025)
Roxanne Perez set a near record by lasting 67 minutes and 47 seconds in the women’s Royal Rumble. She entered at number 3 and was the last eliminated by the Royal Rumble winner Charlotte Flair. Before she got eliminated she already spent 67:47 minutes in the ring and broke Bayley last year’s longest run record of 63:03 by over 4 minutes.
Not only her but entry no. 1 Iyo Sky and entry no. 2 Liv Morgan also surpassed Bayley’s previous record which shows high endurance and competitiveness in the women’s division.
One of the reasons these records are being set could be the time interval gap between entrains as earlier it was 90 seconds but this time it’s 120 seconds or 2 minutes.
Greatest Single Night Gate of any WWE event
WWE revealed that the Royal Rumble 2025 was at the top with the greatest single-night gate in history for any WWE event. This achievement is not only a testament to the event’s popularity but also to a vibrant marketing campaign and avid fan engagement months before its time.

2. Partnering with Fanatics benefits WWE Merchandise Sales a lot. The Merchandise sales not only surpass previous years record but also with a 95% increase from last year’s figures. Making Royal Rumble the highest-grossing non-WrestleMania event of all time.
In addition, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that generic and Royal Rumble merchandise sales were number one throughout the weekend.
3. The Company witnessed a spectacular Sponsorship Revenue Growth as revenue increased by 94% compared to the last Royal Rumble event. This time Royal Rumble featured 14 total partners, reflecting the race in brands to associate with WWE events.
4. Social Media Engagement Record – Social media views for content surrounding Royal Rumble 2025 broke all time records. Spear delivered by Bron Breakker to popular streamer IShowSpeed became most watched video in history of Royal Rumble. It received more than 300,000,000 views in less than 24 hours.
Featuring Ishowspeed at the last moment in the Royal Rumble sets record views. As Akira Tozawa got a sneak attack from Carmelo Hayes, leading him out of the game and adding Ishowspeed engaged the viewers with the Royal Rumble.
5. Attendance Statistics – The attendance for this year’s Royal Rumble was impressive, with over 67,540 tickets sold. It generated $17 million in ticket sales and only a small number remaining available (626). This shows not only fan interest but also effective venue management and promotion strategies.

After Royal Rumble 2025, WWE is setting up for Elimination Chamber
The Elimination Chamber event will be held in Toronto on March 1, 2025. This is the second time when WWE is returning to Toronto since 2002. Talking about the WWE’s next PPV i.e. Elimination Chamber, the winner of the Men’s and women’s Elimination chamber matches will get the opportunity to challenge for the world title.
As per latest update till Monday night RAW, CM Punk has joined John Cena in the men’s Elimination Chamber match. He earned the opportunity by defeating Sami Zayn in a qualification match for Elimination Chamber. On the same night, Liv Morgan qualified for the women’s elimination chamber match by defeating IYO SKY via disqualification.
Other superstars are yet to be confirmed as qualification dates and matches will be announced soon.
John Cena, who is on his farewell tour already cleared his intentions after the Royal Rumble interview. He stated that by participating in Elimination Chamber match, he will aim to break the record and become the first 17-time World Champion.
