WarGames is building up! The main event of Survivor Series 2025 will witness a 5-on-5 battle inside the double-ringed structure. The babyface side is stacked with Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, on the recent SmackDown, the newly joined Jimmy Uso, and World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk. Until the SmackDown’s main event, the heels consisted of Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Logan Paul. To even the numbers game, though, Drew McIntyre showed up and chose his side with The Vision to take down Cody.

In the Nov 14, 2025, episode of SmackDown, Cody battled Bronson while putting his Undisputed WWE Championship on the line. The match lasted for a while, only for Bron and Logan to interrupt and end it in a no-contest. While Reed was beaten up, Breakker and Paul took charge and started a 2-on-1 attack. That’s when The Usos ran in and came to the aid of Cody. As Bronson was down, Jey and Jimmy took out Bron and Logan and had the upper hand.

The Usos then took out a table to land a splash on Logan, but Drew did not approve it. The Scottish Warrior came out of nowhere and pushed Jimmy, who was on the top rope, about to splash on The Maverick. Nick Aldis was pissed on seeing McIntyre laying waste on everyone when he is suspended in the first place. Drew helped Logan and led the spot for Bron to spear Jey. The game soon turned in the heels’ favor, and babyfaces lay out with The Vision, alongside Logan and Drew standing tall.

These teams are a chunk of various interconnected storylines. Drew and Logan partnered this summer, which also makes sense now as they team up. Drew’s rivalry with Cody recently and even The Usos earlier this year also ties into it. However, one more interaction missing from this SmackDown was McIntyre and Punk. The World Heavyweight Champion was not on the show tonight, which also became a reason why the babyfaces suffered more.

WWE fans are hopeful of Drew McIntyre’s addition to The Vision side in WarGames

The big reason fans are excited for Drew McIntyre’s addition is his interaction with CM Punk. That Punk-McIntyre face-off will be happening as soon as the next RAW at Madison Square Garden. Punk would be there for his babyface team alongside The Usos and Cody, and might also announce who their fifth member could be. The same could be said for the Vision side, who need the last member for WarGames.

Punk and McIntyre had a brief interaction in the Royal Rumble this year; however, it did not add much to their heat. Elimination Chamber had a chance to reignite that, but Drew was eliminated eWhven before Punk could come out of the pod. However, this time its bout to happen and at different stakes.

Another fan again rejoices in Drew being the 4th member just for how good the heel team looks now. Even without the 5th member, they seem to be the perfect set of heels manufactured to tackle the babyfaces. While the speculations suggest that the 5th member could be Brock Lesnar, it is still unclear.

Whereas the babyfaces’ team speculations include the former Bloodline leader, Roman Reigns, to join. One fan sees if that happens, the dream team would have been assembled as if they were the Avengers or so. Whatever the matter is with the 5th member, the match is set to be a banger. The buildup has not been consistent for this, coming from the unfortunate Seth Rollins’ injury and their opponents being all over the place.
