Although, with Islam cutting short the reign time of Jack by winning the Welterweight Championship. It looks like the same situation stands in front of Belal, and that too in a twisting and complex way. What if Belal manages to defeat Ian Garry? There would be a few possible scenarios to face for Belal Muhammad.

1. He would have to accept fighting Islam Makhachev despite their friendship, as winning the title would dominate their bond.

2. He would have to jump to middleweight; this would pave a new way for Belal for a championship where he won’t have to go against Islam Makhachev.

3. If Makhachev loses his belt during superfights, then the title picture may not bring Belal to face Islam, and this could be favorable for Belal.
