Seth Rollins is currently sidelined due to a shoulder injury. The coast-to-coast on Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel cost him his championship and six months of wrestling. Many fans expect, and even Rollins himself predicts, his return before WrestleMania 42. Despite a landscape filled with bitter rivals and unresolved grudges, Rollins has made it clear that his focus, upon return is singular.
Rollins would neither hunt down CM Punk to settle feud nor seek revenge against Bron Breakker. Whereas he would love to get back his property that he never lost. Speaking with ClutchPoints, Rollins revealed that his primary target is the World Heavyweight Championship. The gold that he was forced to vacate would be reclaimed by Seth whenever he comes back according to him. He labeled whomsoever is holding the title or will hold the title in his absence as a mere “interim” placeholder.
Rollins’ path back to the top is complicated by a dense web. Apart from the easy targets, Punk and Breakker, a potential collision with Roman Reigns is also in the books. Before his injury, the two seemed destined for a massive singles match, perhaps at WrestleMania 42. However, Rollins insists that anyone, be it anyone holding the WHC, he is gunning for, and that could very well be Breakker, Punk, or Reigns.
However, to make his presence felt and still not return fully, Seth could be in for a surprise appearance on January 5, 2026. The night when Punk will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker on the first RAW of 2026. Whether he appears in Brooklyn or waits for a better moment, Rollins’ warning is clear that the championship that has been ‘borrowed’ by him needs to come back.
