Former WWE stars Ricochet and Samantha Irvin exchanged vows on March 26, 2025. The wedding was attended by several pro-wrestling personalities that caught the attention of the peers worldwide. The AEW star and the former WWE ring announcer had been dating each other since their NXT days in 2021.
Apart from several wrestling personalities present at the venue to attend the couple’s big day, many WWE personalities wished them via social media. Akira Tozawa reportedly served as the groomsman in the wedding. Zoey Stark, Karrion Kross and Scarlett were present for the wedding ceremony.

During their time in WWE they had made many friends which was evident from the reactions received on the post. Braun Strowman was Ricochet’s tag team partner and had a good connection with the fans. After getting engaged in 2023, the two left WWE. Ricochet was the first to leave in July 2024 followed by Samantha Irvin who left months later. The high flying superstar joined AEW and the former WWE ring announcer is now pursuing her musical career.

Mark Shunock is the new WWE SmackDown ring announcer
After Samantha left the company, she was replaced by Lilian Garcia who did the ring announcing for WWE SmackDown. However, she recently decided to step away from full time ring announcing responsibilities.
Soon after WWE announced Mark Shunock as her replacement for the Friday night weekly show. His name was changed to Mark Nash and he started working from 28th March 2025. Garcia has stated that she would be making appearances on some live events.
As of now, Alicia Taylor is the ring announcer for Raw on Netflix which takes place on Monday. Mike Rome is currently doing ring announcing for NXT. Samantha’s exit did led to some shuffles in WWE’s announcing team. However, with the new team it all looks good.
