It’s Halloween, and people around the world are enthusiastic. That also makes a huge chunk of the WWE wrestlers excited about it. Every year, the WWE Universe witnesses the creativity showcased by some of the stars who dress up! This year, too, CM Punk is one of those names who took the leeway and tried to be a luchador for a minute.
On his Instagram stories, Punk posted selfies of himself wearing the mask of both the Lucha Brothers, Penta and Rey Fenix. He started off with the ‘Zero Fear’ superstar, wrote ‘Happy Halloween’ over his picture, and tagged the Mexican. The selfie seems to have been taken during an episode of Raw, as the location looks like the locker room. However, to end the masking on, he chose Fenix’s mask, and followed the same pattern of wishing Halloween and tagging the star.
The other two pictures were posted right after the Penta one and before the Fenix one, respectively. The second picture had Punk wearing El Hijo Del Vikingo’s mask with his classic Viking horns over it. This picture also comes from a locker room, probably at one of those AAA shows, as Mr. Iguana’s La Yesca is also seen in the back.
The third looks a bit special as Punk took real efforts getting dressed up too, with Dragon Lee’s mask. He wore the essential luchador mask of Dragon, but also his shoulder jacket attire. Although, this was Punk’s way of wishing all a Happy Halloween with the luchador masks he wore over the time and captured some memories of it. However, he also posted what he really dressed up as, back at his home.
CM Punk’s Real Halloween Costume With AJ Lee
This year, supposedly back at their home in Chicago, the WWE power couple CM Punk and AJ Lee celebrated Halloween by channeling the classic animated series G.I. Joe. They shared their costumes in an Instagram post, revealing that Punk dressed as the honorable arms dealer Destro. While Lee was his primary love interest, the intelligent and loyal Cobra second-in-command, Baroness.
The couple’s commitment to the characters was evident in their matching, detailed black outfits. Punk wore Destro’s signature silver mask and a shining locket. Lee completed her look as Baroness with her character’s iconic black glasses and a black-clad ensemble. Their on-point attire successfully brought the popular G.I. Joe villains and anti-heroes to life for the spooky occasion, delighting many fans.
