The Elimination Chamber 2025 took place on March 1, 2025, at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada. This match was also live streamed on Peacock and Netflix. In addition, it was the final premium live event before WrestleMania 41, which is scheduled to occur in April. The event featured significant bouts from men’s as well as women’s division and two Elimination Chamber matches. The event answered many questions and storyline headlines leading into WrestleMania.

Men’s Elimination Chamber Match
The Men’s Elimination Chamber match included six competitors: Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Damian Priest, John Cena, Logan Paul, and CM Punk. Beginning with two players competing each other and the rest four having to enter a pod till their turn came to compete. All wrestlers had to compete till the other five players were eliminated.
Match Progression:
The men’s elimination chamber initiated with Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre’s actions. Later Damian Priest joined them and made it a triple threat, followed by Logan Paul to add spice and actions in the match. The two legends John Cena and CM Punk were the last to enter in the match. McIntyre, who seemed to be one of the contenders to win the Elimination Chamber, got eliminated first by Priest.
Priest, who eliminated McIntyre, got eliminated next in the match. In a short time, Priest got eliminated by Logan Paul, and Paul got eliminated by CM Punk. At last we were left with three superstars with high flying impactful moves and Seth Rollins, who started first got eliminated by the teamwork between Cena and Punk. John Cena came out victorious over the Second City Saint with his STF submission after The Architect stomped him.
Outcome: John Cena won the Men’s Elimination Chamber match and secured his spot in the main event at WrestleMania 41 against Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Women’s Elimination Chamber Match
The Women’s Elimination Chamber match featured competitors including Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, Alexa Bliss, Roxanne Perez, Bayley and Naomi.
Match Highlights:
The match lasted approximately 29 minutes with numerous high spots and counter maneuvers.
As the match was going to start we saw the interruption by Jade Cargill which lead to elimination of Naomi as she got injured. The match resumed and almost after half an hour Bianca Belair managed to pin Liv Morgan and entered the WrestleMania 41 event.
Yet still it is not clear to whom she will face either Rhea Ripley or Iyo Sky for the Women’s Championship.
Key Moments from the Event
John Cena’s Heel Turn: As many were expecting Cena to win the elimination chamber and it did happen but his heel turn was unexpected to everyone. After winning his match, the Cenation leader not only aligned with The Rock and Travis Scott but also attacked Cody Rhodes which shocked the fans.
This is the first time we saw a shift in Cena’s character and turning heel just before Wrestlemania hyped the expectations from his and Rhodes’ match at Wrestlemania 41.
Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens Unsanctioned Match: In another breath taking bout of the evening, Sami Zayn faced Kevin Owens in an unsanctioned match that highlighted their long-standing rivalry. The match included use of multiple weapons and filled the match with a high level of actions and suspenseful moments for the fans.
Multiple use of tables, Chairs, Sticks were were used in the match and after dramatic near finishes Kevin Owens emerged with victories in the match. As he continued attacking Sami Zayn after the match we witnessed a surprise interruption of Randy Orton in the ring.
Trish Stratus’ Return: WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus made her return during a tag team match alongside Tiffany Stratton against Nia Jax and Candice LeRae. Not only did she return but also won the tag team match with Stratton.
Atlast, the show was successful and we can conclude that most of the fans’ questions were answered after this Elimination Chamber event. The PLE was filled with twists which were unexpected to predict for the fans and analysts. All this makes the WrestleMania 41 storylines more puzzling and suspenseful for the fans.
