Becky Lynch’s recent heel turn has showcased her willingness to push boundaries. She has been the heatmagnet with inspiring promos followed by banger matches. Lynch’s latest promo in Dublin, from her home country of Ireland, showed her ragebaiting skills. Followed by that screeching promo, she landed in Birmingham and did the same. However, a disrespect to their native, late great Ozzy Osbourne was taken offense by his eldest daughter, Kelly Osbourne.
On Monday Night Raw live from Birmingham, Becky stirred a potential controversy. During a heated exchange with Nikki Bella, Lynch unleashed a barrage of insults aimed at the Birmingham crowd. Lynch agreed to fight Bella but refused to do so in Birmingham. The Man said, “I’m not wrestling in Birmingham. The only good thing that came out of here died a month ago. But in fairness to Ozzy Osbourne, he had the good sense to move to LA, a proper city. Because if I lived in Birmingham, I’d die too.”
The line referenced the recent passing of Black Sabbath legend and WWE Hall of Famer Ozzy Osbourne. The comment sparked outrage among fans and drew a fiery response from Kelly Osbourne, Ozzy’s daughter. On Tuesday morning, Kelly took to Instagram Stories, slamming Lynch: “Becky Lynch, you are a disrespectful dirtbag! Birmingham would not piss on you if you were on fire. Shame on the WWE for allowing such things to be said about my father and his home!!!”

Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away in July at 76 due to a heart attack, was a beloved figure from Birmingham. As of now, neither WWE nor Lynch has responded to Kelly Osbourne’s comments. This shows how effective Becky has been as a heel and offending families, and ready to face setbacks.
