WWE SmackDown Results – February 14, 2025 – Capital One Arena, Washington D.C. This week was certainly a head-spinning episode of WWE SmackDown even as the rivalry went on the fast track for the Elimination Chamber. A series of high-stakes matches stood and happened by surprise meetings brought the WWE Universe towards the major events that will take place in the next weeks.
Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, and Jacob Fatu Open SmackDown
The show opened with Cody Rhodes walking out to the ring to discuss his upcoming elimination chamber match to determine his WrestleMania 41 match opponent and the high risk involved. Cody made it clear that he was going to be the WWE Champion and sign off at the WrestleMania without a doubt, although, Drew McIntyre stepped into the ring. The Scotsman who has expressed his wish to retake his top spot in the company for a while went straight to Cody Rhodes and spoke his mind.

The tension between the two was apparent as they argued, each standing up as the real contender. Jacob Fatu came out of nowhere, running down to the ring thus getting all the attention of the audience. Fatu announced his goal of entering and winning the Chamber match, seizing the very moment he needed to become the new kingpin in the WWE. The angle went in a completely different direction with Solo Sikoa’s appearance, as he stood face to face with both Rhodes and McEntyre, then locked eyes with Fatu. Fatu reminded that he came to talk to Solo first as it was their family business, which added another layer of intrigue to the Bloodline story.
Naomi Punches Her Ticket to the Women’s Elimination Chamber
In a Women’s Elimination Chamber qualifying match, Naomi narrowly beat Chelsea Green who gave her a high tempo fight and thus may be looked at as the crowd is going to edge their seats with her. With Bianca Belair and Piper Niven supporting their corner, the duel turned into a fierce and back-and-forth face-off. Known for her trickery, Green tried to catch her with a series of cheap moves, but Naomi showed off her awesome physical prowess, and strong will to the fight winning the wins.

LA Knight Defeats The Miz, Eyes U.S. Title Opportunity
On WWE SmackDown, we saw a hot fight among Niko Hercules and a bored George Marble. Therefore, trouble was out of the way for the SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis by making the heat between LA Knight and The Miz official. Addressing U.S. Champion Shinsuke Nakamura, who was closely observing and sitting at the ringside, engaged in a tense battle loaded with mental attacks and physical tension.

Miz, with his technical talent, had the upper hand in wearing Knight down, but Knight’s obstinacy and sheer power were also helpful to him. The last moments of the match saw Knight perform a reversal of the move, and finally, hit his signature move BFT to seal the victory.
Furthermore, while locked in a hunter’s gaze, Knight let Nakamura know of his intention to challenge him for the U. S. Championship. The WWE Universe is currently dealing with a new morning shipping style for possible entry of these two dynamic competitors.
Carmelo Hayes Overcomes R-Truth
An unexpected match between Carmelo Hayes and R-Truth resulted from a backstage quarrel earlier in the night. Truth, an experienced contender, reached the top levels with his on-the-fly offense and invaluable experience keeping Hayes preoccupied in the initial moments. Although, whereas Hayes’ hunger and athletic ability caused too many problems to the veteran. He countered a scissor kick attempt, then performed a top-rope maneuver with pinpoint precision, thereby holding onto the victory with a lot of efforts after it. This victory brings to mind to Hayes’s rises the way of WWE SmackDown, putting him up as a fresh face in the singles division.
WWE Women’s Championship Match Ends in Controversy
Tiffany Stratton decided to put her WWE Women’s Championship on the line against the imposing Nia Jax, while being watched closely by Charlotte Flair from the backstage. The techniques and offensive moves that Stratton is renowned for were not enough to hold Jax back, who attacked her earlier the fight with her power and brute force. However, in spite of the situation, Stratton showed courage and took advantage of the moment to execute her signature move, Prettiest Moonsault Ever. LeRae, unfortunately, interfered suddenly by giving a kick to Stratton, in result of which her opponent could not perform the move and was disqualified immediately.
The grapple continued as Jax and LeRae kept on beating each other up, and WWE hall of fame- Trish Stratus went to the ring in order to help the situation. Stratus was overpowered and beaten up too, however. Just when it seemed that Stratton was left vulnerable, Flair strutted her way to the ring, to Stratton’s displeasure. Charlotte took the opportunity to identify herself as Stratton’s opponent at WrestleMania 41 legitimately and she made fun of her to round off her show. The outbreak of chaos following the ending of the match renders the situation even more combustible within the group of female wrestlers.
Damien Priest Qualifies for the Elimination Chamber Amidst Chaos
The night’s main event was a brutal and physically grueling Triple Threat Elimination Chamber qualifying match feature. In this match, all three superstars gutted it out with punishing strikes and high-impact moves that had the WWE Universe on the edge of their seats. At the time, it appeared that Strowman was about to gain the upper hand when Solo Sikoa appeared out of nowhere hit him with a Samoan Spike.
In the mayhem, Sikoa mistakenly hit Tama Tonga, thereby creating a tense environment within The Bloodline. When the situation spiraled out of control, Cody Rhodes made his way to the ring and not only attacked Solo but also stirred the pot even more. In the meantime, Priest came to the forefront and with a thunderous South of Heaven Chokeslam put Strowman out thereby getting a place in the Elimination Chamber match. These events are imperative for the lead-up to WrestleMania, as they create even more unpredictability.
With the aggressive rivalries being sliced, the definition of a major encounter was achieved, and the personal grudges becoming much bigger, SmackDown came to put another unprecedented edition on the history of wrestling ring. While WrestleMania 41 is getting closer and closer to the WWE Universe, the fans of WWE might have to get ready for more drama, surprises, and never before unforgettable matches in the coming weeks.
