Alekandre Topuria vs. Colby Thicknesse: There was also a substantial view drawn toward the prelims with that of Aleksandre Topuria against Colby Thicknesse. The brother to featherweight champion Ilia Topuria, it was decision time once he had shown effective striking and grappling in the three rounds. Using that “chess-like” strategic pace allowed him to contend for the tempo of the fight.
Result – Topuria defeated Thicknesse by unanimous decision.
