UFC 312: Updated Match Card, Sean Strickland Looks To Take Revenge Against Dricus Du Plessis

UFC 312: Du Plessis vs Strickland 2 is scheduled for ninth February 2025 at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia. The show features two title matches on the card i.e. men’s middleweight and women’s strawweight championship.

As was covered before, Dricus Du Plessis will defend his middleweight title against Sean Strickland in a rematch between the two. While Strickland proposed the champion to fight in a striking contest without grappling, DDP rejected the idea. With Khamzat Chimaev waiting in queue, the two would want to make the most of this opportunity. Last time both the fighters fought at UFC 297 and the decision went in the favour of Du Plessis by split decision.

In the co-main event, China’s Zhang Weili takes on Tatiana Suarez for the UFC Women’s Strawweight championship. Zhang Weili will try her best to defend her title whereas Tatiana Suarez will aim to continue her unbeaten streak.

With the two big matches the show is set to feature three more fights on the main card.
