Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix, together known as The Luch Bros backed each other when they were divided between AEW and WWE. Their relationship as brothers and tag partners never changed, despite being in different territories. Penta El Zero Meido seemed to give Fenix a quiet support, during the latter’s last days in AEW, while maintaining a professional attitude.

Penta’s Support for Rey Fenix
Pentagon Jr. had a deal with WWE after leaving AEW in November 2024, and debuted in February 2025. At the time, his younger brother was still under AEW contract because of the added injury time period. Penta concentrated on his career switch to WWE during this time, saying nothing publicly on AEW or any other negative comments.
He let the world know how much he adored Rey Fenix after he moved to WWE in early 2025. Penta El Zero Meido replied “love u” on an Instagram post created by Fenix. It indicated that their relation was not disturbed by professional division. Penta also called Rey “the best wrestler in the world” and expressed his desire to see his little brother in WWE.
In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, the elder brother showed his readiness to team with his brother to form The Lucha Bros in WWE. Though he said he was concentrated on developing his career as a singles wrestler, Penta also welcomed the idea of joining hands with Rey in WWE. Emphasizing their versatility as performers, he made sure to show he was ready to work with or without his sibling.
Rey Fenix showed frustrations during his last days in AEW
Rey Fenix had expressed dissatisfaction with AEW administration and stated they had mishandled him as well as not given proper medical care during his time in AEW. Fenix had difficulties in AEW, including injuries and frustration, but his discontent with the company was supposedly aggravated because his Shop merchandise was removed, sparking rumors he would be departing AEW.

Even so, he kept professionalism with some vague and emotional social media posts implying he was displeased with the treatment of AEW of him; “respect the wrestling business and don’t believe everything you see on the internet”. Reports finally confirmed that Rey Fenix was let go from AEW. He made his WWE debut Friday Night SmackDown on April 4, 2025.
Triple H shared a video of his interaction with Fenix after the latter’s debut. Pentagon Jr. reacted to the video with heart emoji and wrote “El mejor” which means “The Best”.
Rey Fenix supported Penta while being separated between AEW and WWE
Reacting favorably to behind-the-scenes WWE footage of the show and posting a sincere tribute for Penta, Rey Fenix honored his brother’s WWE debut via social media. Fenix showed sophisticated emotional responses. He showed his respect and pride for Pentagon Jr.’s success even as he could not be with him owing to his long AEW contract.

One Word Reaction: Rey Fenix was fast to answer with a one-word reply that showed their closeness and support. An X user shared unseen moments of Penta’s backstage RAW debut to which his brother reacted while still being under AEW contract.
X fka Twitter Post: Rey Fenix praised his brother’s achievements and a dream that became reality. In an emotional message he called Penta his “favorite fighter.” By expressing he was proud of his brother and his accomplishments, he underlined that their brotherly relationship remained close and powerful by congratulating Pentagon Jr.
Royal Rumble Reaction: Following Penta’s 2025 Royal Rumble performance of around 42 minutes, Fenix gave his thoughts. He reacted to Penta and Rey Mysterio’s post on “X” fka Twitter by posting a heart emoji. He therefore displayed once again his love and honor for his brother.

Their mutual support througout this period of time demonstrates the kind of bond they ahare with each other. Always in their professional wrestling careers they have been the reason behind each other’s success. Now fans sit in expectation of their WWE reunion.
